Hi! I am Mikes and I’ve been taking photos since early childhood—ever since I received my first camera in kindergarten. What began as a simple fascination gradually grew into a profession, and since 2022 I’ve been working as a freelance photographer, covering a wide range of events.
Working in so many different environments has taught me how people express themselves, celebrate, and connect, and it has shaped the way I approach visual storytelling. Over the years, I’ve grown to appreciate the unique rhythm of event photography: every moment is unpredictable, and every situation demands a different kind of attention.
I’m especially passionate about sports photography. Having been a competitive orienteer myself, I don’t just observe—I experience the intensity, movement, and rhythm from the inside. This perspective allows me to be fully present and capture the most authentic, fleeting moments that define the action.
What I enjoy most in applied photography is the constant need to stay alert—to anticipate the unexpected, to capture the fleeting expressions that might otherwise go unnoticed. Creating images that feel honest, energetic, and true to the moment is what keeps me returning to every assignment with the same enthusiasm.
