How I connected with sports and why I love photographing it so much? I stumbled into orienteering in 2015, and I was hooked from the very first moment. I became a multiple national champion in the youth and junior categories, but somehow I found my other great passion behind the lens. At first, I just snapped photos at our own races, but gradually I developed a real taste for sports photography. Orienteering and its community gave me a background experience that shapes how I see sports through the camera.

Although I didn’t qualify as a competitor for the Junior World Championships in 2024, I was there as a photographer, cheering every moment from the sidelines. Since then, I’ve photographed countless competitions—not just orienteering, but other sports as well—and every new setting brings new challenges and stories to tell through my images.
